Poem : The Eagel

The poem The Eagle is written by Lord Tennyson. He was a English poet often regarded as he chief representative of the Victorian age in poetry. He was also a poet laureate during the time of 1850 to 1892.

This is a lyric poem. The Eagle is brief but vivid glimpse into the world of this powerful bird. As with the best poet's work, this short poem display a strong musical sense.

Summery : 

The poet says about the eagle in this poem. This is one of the masterpiece by Lord Tennyson. It clasps things very strongly. He says on the charge with the strong clasps of crooked hands.
He clasps the crave with crooked hands.
He sats on a height so that it seems to  the poet as if he is nearer to the sun. The land is man less. He takes rounding the sky.

Poet say that he sets on height on that height sea is like wrinkled. When he says on a mountain walls he saw all things with are on land. When he saw his food he come their as fast as thunderbolt and pick his food.
And like a thunderbolt he falls. 
Figures of speech in the poem : 

The poet has used figure of  speech to enrich the poem. There are two figure of speech can be mainly found.

  • Personification
  • Simile.
Personifications : 

Poet has personified the eagle and the sea in the poem. Poet has used he for eagle. And for sea he used wrinkled which is adjective used for face. It is assured with the used of word crawls.

Simile : 

The poet had used simile in the poem. He Compares the eagle's attack on food that is in sects with the thunderbolt. He is as fast as thounderbolt.

Use of sentences :

The poet has also maintains  the simplicity of the poem for that he has used simple sentence. For Ex : 
He clasps the crag.
He watches from his mountain walls.

Poem : When We two parted.

The poem When We Two Parted is written by Lord Byron. In this poem port talk about the time when he and his lover had Parted. He expressed his feeling of that time. In the first stanzas poet say that when we two Parted at that time there was only silence and tears between us. He say that our heart are broken at that the and because of sclience I can hear that voice. We are going to separate for the years your cheek are pale an d cool.
