Robinson Crusoe is novel written by Daniel Defoe. The full  title of the novel is  The life and surprising adventure of Robinson Crusoe.  This is a adventure story of Robinson Crusoe who is both the narrator and main character. We studied a novel but when we visualize things it give a better understanding. Because of this reason we also see one movie based on novel.         There are more then one movie based on Robinson Crusoe. We see the movie directed by Luis Bunuel. The story was based on sea voyage. We can see that the scene of movie are very beautifully directed. If we talk that how faithful movie to novel is? Key aspect of preface. • What is poet ? • What is poetry ? • Language of poem. • Subject matter of poem.   Question 1 What is the basic difference between the poetic of creed 'Classicism' and 'Romanticism'?  ðŸ‘‰  Classicism and Romanticism are two different ideology. They are two schools of thought. It is all about technique of writing. 👉 When we talk about Classicism we see that guiding force is intellect. Where as  when we talk about romanticism guiding force is imagination. 👉 Classical restrained was ruling world. Whereas romantic do not believe in any restrained. They believe that poet is  free to explain what he likes. 👉 Classical represent the urban or a city life whereas romantic represent the rural life.          Question 2.                                     Dryden showed that he was equally able to turn his fine intelligence towards criticism as well as the production of poetry and drama, and the criticism he produced is widely recognized as being analytical and outstanding in its argument and  rhetoric . One of his most famous works of criticism is  Of Dramatic Poesies : An Essay, which was published in 1668, and contains Dryden's shrewd assessment of the genre of drama.  Dryden is father of English criticism. Because he was the first who do criticism specific on English literature. The aim of dramatic poesy is clear by himself. He says that  " My aim is to vindicate English writer." Question 1  difference between Aristotle's definition of Tragedy and Dryden's definition of Play.  We can clearly see the difference. That both of they talk about imagination but i...

Paradise lost

The paradise lost is written in 12 books. The idea of this is come from the Story of creation.  Book 9 is a climax of the story of paradise lost. In this we can see the fall of Man. In the 9th book where the Eve ate the Apple ( Fruit of Knowledge ) and God became angry and decided to give punishment. The remarkable difference we see in Genesis and Paradise Lost is in the character of Eve. In Genesis she regretted on whatever she has done while in Paradise Lost and argue and take stand for her self.   Here in this blog I am trying to give answer of questions given us. Question 1 write a critical note on character of Eve. We find vast difference between character of Eve in Bible and in Milton's Eve. She is created from Adam’s rib as his helpmeet. She is beautiful, wise, and able. When Satan see her first time for a while he forget about his revenge. She is the one who first eats the forbidden fruit and convince Adam to eat ...

Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet based on Hamlet William Shakespeare

Hamlet is very famous Tragedy by William Shakespeare. it is also most debatable among the critics. Many film makers make their movie on that. Kenneth Branagh also make movie on that. In this blog I try giving answer of the question which are part of post viewing task.             1)  How faithful is the movie to the original play ? According to me movie is quit faithful to the original  play. When we look at character, situation, and setting are as much as similar to the original play. The use of mirror gives a charm to the scene. His soliloquy looks better in this way.   But still we find the difference in the play and movie. Hamlet written in 16th century and the costumes in the play are of victorine time. We also find that Hamlet in movie is looking middle aged but Hamlet in a play is a student of university.    2) After watching movie have your perception about ...

Online discussion Mario Vargas Llosa's Interview

Mario Vargas Llosa  the Peruvian novelist, was awarded the nobal prize for literature in 2010. His most recent novel is The Neighbourhood .  Here in this blog I am sharing the point which I like form his interview for the worldpost by Michael Skafidas , a journalist and professor of comparative literature at City University of New York .                                          I also try to explain that why I agree with that point by giving example according to my   understanding.        First point  which I like is that " If you respect literature you must accept not only the very idealist altruist vision of the human beings but also the infernal vision of them. Georges Bataller said that in human beings , there are angle and devil. Literature is testimony of wha...
